Day 04 / 07

WITH GOD THERE’S ALWAYS A WAY,
AND BY FAITH I WILL FIND IT.

I s there an area of your life where you feel like there’s no way forward? Maybe all of the natural routes and possibilities you can think of seem closed, and now you just feel unsure, lost, frustrated, let down.

You might not see it right now, but the first thing you’ve got to believe when you can’t see how things are going to work out is that with God, there's always a way. Your story doesn’t end here. You've got to believe that He who made the heavens and the sea and measured out the universe, the One who made you and knows you and has a plan for your life, the One who has been with you for every step, He will always make a way.

But to really see the way He’s making, you’ve got to remain open. Because the only way to find it is by faith. God might prompt you to pivot or close a door you were wanting for something better. If you’re not open, you could miss it. Sometimes God takes the thing away, and sometimes he takes you through the thing. Either way, he will be faithful, and he’ll keep you safe.

And along the way, your faith enables you to grow through whatever you go through.

105

You make plans, but God makes paths.

T
he difference between finding a way through effort and finding it by faith is that effort looks right at the obstacle, but faith enables us to lift our eyes above it. Faith shifts our focus to possibility and the hope set before us. We may not see it yet, but with a focus on God and a renewal of our faith, we can trust in the way that God is making.

Is there something in your life that looks finished, but a voice inside you is telling you that it’s not over yet? Is God reminding you, “Go forward! You’re not finished”? Listen to that voice. That’s the voice of the new you calling you to step into who you really are. Let faith rise up again.

At the end of today, there’s another moment of motivation for you. I hope this track revives your faith and readies your heart in times when you can’t see a way forward, feel confused, complacent, or forgotten. God knows what He’s called you to, and He knows what you’re walking through. He is all powerful and always faithful. You might not see the way now, but it will be there when you need it. He hasn’t brought you this far to leave you. He hasn’t brought you into this earth to have you figure it all out on your own.

By faith you will find it, and step by step you can walk in it.

01

Do you have a secret fear that God won’t come through for you in a particular area of your life?
Submit that fear to God in prayer and ask him to help you become open to possibility.

02

In what way can you focus on possibility this week? Think of a specific area that isn’t working out the way you planned.
Can you open your mind to believe that God is making a way that you aren’t expecting?

03

Reflect on God’s past faithfulness to give you hope for your current situation.
Think of a time when God made a way for you that was completely different from what you were expecting.
