Day 02 / 07
I’m Not Stuck Unless
I stop.
D o you ever just get tired of trying? Life throws something at you that you weren’t expecting, and you try to get through it, but the hits just keep coming, it interrupts your momentum, and you get tired. That weary feeling can leave you feeling stuck, like maybe it’s not worth it to keep going.
But I have an important truth for you today: you’re not stuck unless you choose to stop. You might be facing something you’ve never faced before, something that seems too big for you. The enemy wants you to think it’s over. He wants you to stop caring, stop hoping, and stop trying. But the battle you're fighting today is your future strength. Don't run from it.
The mindset "I'm not stuck unless I stop" is a battle cry against complacency and a declaration of perseverance.
It’s a reminder that the only time you're truly stuck is when you cease to move forward, when you throw in the towel and resign yourself to the stagnation. It's not about the obstacles in your path; it's about your refusal to let them halt your progress. You might hit walls, face setbacks, and endure heartaches, but as long as you keep stepping, keep trusting, and keep seeking God, you're not stuck. You're in motion, and every step is a step of faith. It's about recognizing that God is at work in your life, even when you can't see it. It's about pivoting when necessary, following God's lead even when it takes you in unexpected directions.
29
The NEW you doesn’t give up easily. You’ve come too far to get stuck here. The battle you’re fighting today is your FUTURE strength.
Motivation in the midst of heartache or defeat isn't about waiting for the pain to pass before you move; it's about deciding to keep stepping even when the ground beneath you feels like quicksand. Life has a way of clouding our vision, making us forget the strength we have through Christ who fortifies us. It's in these moments, when the hurt and fear is heaviest, that we must recall that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Remember, the same God who led Joseph through betrayal and imprisonment to a place of prominence is navigating your journey, too. Your pain is not pointless; it's a platform for God's power to be displayed in your life. So keep striking. Keep moving. Keep trusting that the God who knows the plans He has for you is working all things together for your good, even when you can’t understand the circumstances or see the finish line.
Say it to yourself: “I’m not stuck unless I stop. I might have to rethink the way I’m doing things. I might need reset my expectations. But I’m not going to quit. God is on my side, so I’m not alone in this. I can go to His throne of grace in my time of need. God is bigger than my battle, and it’s not a surprise to Him. He’s sovereign in this situation. I’m not stuck here, and it’s only a matter of time before I find the way forward.”
Repeat that a few times to really get it in your heart. You’ve come too far to get stuck here. It’s not the end of the road. It’s just a curve you can’t see past. You are being transformed more and more each day. Remember, the kingdom of God is within you. You carry it forward. Your momentum is a testament to His work in your life. So, when you feel like you're not making progress, remember that progress in God's kingdom isn't always measured in miles traveled but in the faithfulness of your steps.
Prepare
Find a quiet space to pause and listen to today’s meditation on scripture below to invite peace into your midst — in the chaos, overwhelm, frustration, confusion, sadness or anxiety. Allow God to shift something within as you make this space for His word. Let him speak into your situation and infuse you with a renewed confidence, courage, and hope.
Keep going. Keep pressing in. In God, you will find a way forward.
SCRIPTURE
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up”.
